this is an airsoft and aa site, most of the time during airsoft we all sweat and get hungry alot! Some of us including me needs constant recharge lets have some recharge formulas. i have seen ironlord eating oatmeal with honey once preety damn good stuff by the looks of it. the stuff we get during airsoft most of the time is 1 lunch box which can last for round about 2-3 hours max.
anyhow this is what i do
2 bottles of 1.5 litre of water
a very long loaf of bread
brown rice milk is preety good, i called it liquid food

i thought this was a cooking thread, not what to bring with you to eat thread... But sicne you're not being told off by any of the admins yet, here's my thoughts:
Energy bars, Small pieces of chocolate, Sugary drinks i.e. coca-cola, apple juice, water with sugar and small amounts of salt (e.g. Pocari Sweat/Green Power)... (small sips at a time) A loaf of bread (maybe) (and the basic lunchbox)
The above is the recommended diet for those who need a bit of recharge during games, for the extra boost of energy, or when you're feeling the munchies. Not that you eat them all, but you choose a bit of the above to eat/drink... I repeat, NOT ALL!!
Having meals between games are very bad for your health, and may lead to your body feeling mroe tired than it should, dehydration, and ultimately feel the effects of heat strokes much more strongly. That and you'll get serious indigestion if you eat more than the above recommended.
Whether you want to follow/believe it or not, is up to you.

There has been two times when I cooked at a wargame. At Mt. Davis w/ HF At Combat Games w/ HF and FC We made Pasta w/ Pesto Sauce w/ sausages using a butane gas cooker. It was awesome. I like to have have small lunch and focus more on getting more games in so small snacks that don't require serious sitting down to munch is preferred. Instant Cup Noodles, which Malavern brought at the night game was a great choice. I'm bringing pudding next wargame for lunch

I don't think i help cook at CG... just brung the drinks.. and helped eating. oh.. and don't forget the BBQ up davis with your folks which is a osome idea... ;D and we must try again. but would need... you.. or at least someone with the equipment. Ironlord wanted to go davis before he bailed... but his time will run out... so maybe we'll have to head up there at xmas time when he returns.. winter bbq anyone?? lol. but of cause... we could go... anytime before then.. with a little planing. grate... charcoal... tongs... sausages, bread, and tomato sauce would be the minimal needed... but could add... chicken wings... and all other meats... veges... and basicly... anything you want to chuck on the barby. things wraped in tinfold... that you can just put on for 20 min... (game time)... and return to a yummy cooked lunch. or... have a hard core airsoft morning... to create some "i'll sit this one out" cooking women... lol. mmmm... hungry. FC

Sticks to things too... though we'll all probably die from poisoning from the toxic smoke it gives off!!

mmmm so does walking down the street... and breathing. can you imagine what type of bacteria count is involved when Colonel Angus enjoys his favorite hobble?? lol... what does not kill you... makes you stronger. i don't think you are aware of home much fresh fruit and veg is smuggled into HK unchecked... and its "smuggled" for a reason. I believe you will find you more likely to die from "freah" fruit and veg... than my well kept left overs. FC

But frying sausages and others takes only a few minutes And no, there's no chance of cooking up lunch in TTWSC I only bring my cooking stuff when I don't want to eat the lunch that's given at the game sites and TTWSC's lunch is niiiice~
