aye... sounds like fun... i don't like the... pay per month idea. other than a really great way to make money... for them. after 6 months... your've payed for 6 games... but still only playing one. you'll never get your moneys worth. and on top of that... hackers love these games. How to Make Billions while sitting in a station Massive amounts of Isk Easily Undetected Mining Bot Agent Finder Hack - EVE Exploits - Fake warp scramble trick - EVE Exploits - Gain Sec Quick(er) - EVE Exploits - Planet Bump - Safe Spotting - EVE Exploits - Free Cap Recharge / Free Repairs - EVE Cheats - Overfitted ship exploit (CPU/Powegrid over max) - EVE Cheats - check Courier contract contents w/out accepting - EVE Cheats - Easy money / items: contracts w/ scamming - EVE Exploits - Planetary/Lunar/Solar Safe Spots - EVE Exploits - Corp Theft - EVE Cheats - Tanking Exploit - EVE Bots - Tiberious Lite 0.1.1.3 TU - EVE Bot - Autopilot 0km bot - Smartin\'s Macro Miner v1.1.1 - EVE Bots - My jet can macro - EVE Bots - Macro Miner *WORKING* - EVE Macros - High Sec BARGE Mining Macro for 3+ belts.. - EVE Macros - OCR Macro - EVE Macros - Simple Jetcan Macro - EVE Bots: Mining Macro - EVE Bots: How to make your own EVE bot - Programming how-to I guess that goes with the territory. all games will be hacked.... but when theres $$$ involved... it adds to the incentive. not just that FC, when i used to hack and get hacks for rohan for the lols... the people making hacks used to be a GM just so they can find exploits to fix... but they only get a fix for the previous hack if they've found a NEW way to exploit it... but the people i used to get the hacks from dont GM for many games now, they've all pulled out coz it got boring for them... but there're still PLENTY of hacks and exploits available there and well... pay per month... no thanks

Well, to each their own.
Sure, fee paying games cost cash, but you do get a better game then a free one.
And yeah, WOW is space, you could say that; 'cept of course I find the whole concept of better graphics, swapping in characters for spaceships and swords for lasers is MUCH better then WOW.
But yeah, its a matter of taste and prefference.

aeria games - Shin Megami Tensei. MMO game, decent graphics. not your typical mmo game, but still grinds you like any other mmo after a certain level.
free to play, been that way for over a year.
rohan, still free to play and the graphics and game play is still good.

arclight is not interested in female character with minimal amount of armor on them, instead he found SHINY spaceships literally float his boat better

u'know, you dont actually need to grind much at all in EVE. as all the skill learning and stuff is done through actual time. where in game, you set a skill to be learnt, and after a set period in TIME, you learn it. i.e. you dont gain xp by killing stuff. Therefore the longer you play the more powerful you can be. also ISK (money) is damned easy to come by. EVE is more of a RPG then other games, cause well, they take out most the elements which turn other MMOs into Grinders, and force cooperation with other players if you want to experience the full thrill of playing. Also, the things you can name yourself... i.e. i came across a corporation called the "63rd Expeditionary Fleet" with its Flagship being the "Spirit of Vengence", and its commanding officer named "Warmaster Horus"... made me lol, also they were a pretty large fleet consisting of over 30 ships, flying in formation. anyhow, twas fun

not that i know off.. you cant use more powerful ships or equipment unless you have the skills, and you can only aquire skills through the amount of time you have ahd your character!

Yeah.
The only "cheat" is buying in-game credits with real cash but credits are so easy to come buy, its not an issue.
The main thing is skill trainning, and thats based purley on real time so no one has an advantage over anyone that they haven't earned simply by putting in time.
There are hundreds if not thousands of skills to train, each with 5 levels; the first level taking somthing like 20mins, the 2nd about an hour, 3rd about 8 hours, 4 about 2-3 days and 5th something like a month. However, there are skils which speed things up. It's been worked out before that to train every skill would take around 200 years. The massive scope of possibilities means that there are rarely two players exactly alike which makes combat, hostiities and co-op, very interesting.
Plus, the game is very PVP, as in PVE is neglidgable; the PVP is rather complex and involving, anything from 1 on 1 right up to fleets of hundreds and even space stations.
