Pretty nifty design too, being compatible with both GAS and Spring bolts- AND being Supplied with BOTH!!!! -Made by ARES......

the Barrett .50 is basically a M16 inside a very big heavy shell... albeit a very good shell... with a bloody long barrel... and slightly upgraded...
so yes, its an AEG, with f/a capabilities... so yes.... very skirmishable, if you dont mind lugging it around with you. it weighs just shy of the real thing!

wrong i think, it's trigger group is similar to an m16 but the bolt has nothing to do with an m16, it's recoil operated while the m16 is gas tube operated.
that said, it is easy to get mixed up cos of the shape of the reciver
