Hi guys, moved here from the UK about 6 months ago and im really interested in doing some airsoft. I have never done it before, the closest thing I have done is clay pigeon shooting which im fairly good at. Would love to meet some people on here to chat about it and hopefully get some advice!
I am a complete noob and will have to bow down to wisdom here. I have no clue what weapons I should be looking for for a beginner. I have seen lots of shops in Mongkok but really dont want to part with cash until i know what i am looking at. Can anyone give any advice or even offer a second hand primary and secondary for sale?
Look forward to hearing from you guys!

it really depends alot on your budget, what you want out of it and where you'll most likely be playing. Since you're here for the long run, You would probably want to set yourself up with a M4, some extra mags and a chest rig/vest (of course a mask as well). with the leftover cash, you should be able to pick up some protective gear such as pads and gloves.
the gun itself needs a little bit more research on your part, as each gun performs differently. It is advisable to go with a M4, as it is very modular, so you personalize your gun easily with the amount of accessories on the market. Also, if you run into any technical issues, shops tend to have an easier time dealing with M4s as there are an abundance of spare parts for them.
Also, another good way of looking for what to buy, is to take a look on a few websites, such as ehobbyasia, redwolf and airsoftgi (not in HK, but give good tips for beginners), then walk down to the shops in Mong Kok to see if they sell it for a lower price.
hope this isn't too late
