You think YOU got it bad.
I'm an assistant, so imagine that pile o' yours x3 plus all the other piles on other desks that other people pass off to me, pls the storage rooms, plus filing, plus data compiling....not to mention fornightly print deadlines....

Well that depends entirley on the company, yeh there's pressure but you got time to do things in.
Working as a media bitch on the other hand is entirley different. Not only does our small staff have alot fo pressure but we have to squeeze in around the clock interviews and press releases.
Despite what people think, things don't fall in our laps, we have to hunt them down and drag them out of people often.
And worst of all is the uber attention to detail that exists. The published nature of our work means we have to work to a deadline and get absolutley nothing wrong.
And I mean nothing. No spelling or grammar errors, no factual errors, no typos.
Factual error avoidance sounds easy but it's really not; you have to do reams of work then go back though them to make sure it's right, then again later to double check.
Then check someone elses work, and then cross check that, then fact check their details (which can involve traveling and/or hundreds of phone calls).
Then check again after the stuff has been formatted for print, even then, formatting is not a magic proccess, its us that do the formatting so thats just as much a bitch as anything else.
On top of that, we then have late nights when we have to cover some random band at some ungodly our, and then be up for work the next day.
Then when we've worked our asses off and squezzed it in before the deadline, we start all over again the next week.
It's like doing 12 GCSEs with anything less then an A as a fail, with fornightly courseline deadlines (with 0% mistakes), which just goes on and on and on...
Ad infinitum.
But ANYWAY, thats enough from me, I've had my rant, ticked that box.
So, Ferox, you where saying?

so your start up business is an outsourcable labour for admin work. Haha sorry to keep you hanging, I forgot you asked! ;D Pretty much what we do, we help rescue people who are in such chaos that they can't find a way to overcome it. I'm concerned the text in the advert doesn't deliver that message. Considering the space available, it's hard to fit in something. Oh well, my boss is having a look at it today and he has a way with words so he'll come up with something cooler!

It was a temporary position only; they needed an extra pair of hands in a pinch. The assistant is supposed to be capable of full blown bilingual PR, I was just a stop-gap to help spread the work load during a busy time of year.
I mean it's not like I pee'd in the coffee pot.
*cough*

Malavern, I see what you're trying to do.
You're trying hard to put someone else underneath you in this clan.
Sorry, that honor is still yours. You're the indisputed title winner of most socially challenged member of O Clan. That title is gonna stick harder to you now, cause you're a hypocrite.
If there's something wrong with Dingo, you're the last person qualified to judge him. You could try to take the piss with him, but sorry you're not remotely close to being an interesting person because you spend too much time at home masturbating.
