Hey guys, been about 3 weeks since I moved to Melbourne to study and I¡¦ve got most of my stuff sorted, everything is running pretty smooth. Renting a room at a family friend¡¦s place, which is 5 mins drive from my school, and 5 mins from supermarket. Its also 20 minutes from the city, so in that rare opportunity that I get some time off, I could pop round there. Running on a wireless DSL network, which unfortunately has a monthly cap of 60gb, 20 from Midday to Midnight, and 40 from Midnight to midday, so if you overuse it, ISP will knock u¡¦r modem speed back to the stone age till the next month. Sucks major balls. Had a few games of AA and bf2 over the net with ferox and phantom, lag is manageable, but at the rate my workload is increasing, I prolly won¡¦t be able to game much more. My school is actually situated in an air force base so there¡¦s no shortage of guns or security. It¡¦s the home for RAAF Officers training, so we regularly get all sorts of military aircraft coming to land at the airfield. There¡¦s also a small RAAF museum on base, so they do small flight displays once in a while. Enugh chit chat, onto some photos. My Desk My Bed, Double bed for myself ƒº that¡¦s rite¡K. Enviable view from my room....not that I ever open the blinds.... My Car (BG = my place) Just gets me from point A to point B¡Kshould probably pimp it....chuck some spinners or somthn on there My School -> Actually an ex command building or something¡K..so that glass can take a direct hit from a 172 and it won¡¦t leave a mark, down side is there¡¦s no mobile phone reception¡K One of the 172s I¡¦ll be flying Anyone recognize this guy? Muhahahah. Posed nicely next to a king air. And Me ¡V I gotta wear uniform to school every day¡K..-_- yay And my official endorsement of the orange box¡Kwhich is a fkin good value for money and its fun to say the least. only problem is the regions which makes it gay. Thats all for the time being. I¡¦ll post some more stuff up wen I get the time.

He's not allowed to take photos while he's flying sadly, but awesome update none the less Pest. When do they teach you how to dive bomb? Also, when no one is looking, be sure to buzz a swimming pool filled with lovely ladies sun bathing, girls love a man in uniform! A Psychologist goes to do a study on sexual prowess, and she hears a rumour that pilots are known studs. She investigates by going down to the local airport and asking pilots some questions. She meets a pilot in arrivals and asks him about his sex life. "When was the last time you had sex?" "1950." "So long ago!?" "Well I know I'm good but gimme a break, it's only 2030!.

A galfriend of mine would be utterly jealous of you pest, she's also working her way to become a pilot...though more of an airline pilot. Cathay specifically. (i have no idea why >.>) And Aussie was one of her locations!
Looking forward to more pics! *__*

Um, maybe cos they earn ten times as much salary to sit in the seat of a plane which mostly flies itself? Just a thought.

Airline pilots get rediculous amounts of cash. But apparently I'm now too tall to fly commercial aircraft. Fucking health and safety regulations.

Lol.....i dun think theres a max height for airline pilots....only for fighter pilots....what are you on about?
and yeah...i'm aiming for cathay too, should apply for that sometime soon. if not i'll prolly stay in Gen Av for a short while then pop to cathay. so if all goes well, i prolly won't get taught how to dive bomb. tho sometime in we'll get to pull about 5-6 Gs and do some aerobatics. should be wild.
tht c130 is a retired one....break it out for airshows and stuff, but thts the one we can go near. Active ones are more secret and rare....they fly in at night and stuff cuz u can hear it.
will try to get some passngers in so they can do the photos and stuff....but tht'll be in 10 hours min or somthn. Keep lookin for updates

Keep lookin for updates I applied for Cathay's Cadet Pilot scheme before - got all the way to the last stage of interviews before the medical and then they dropped me. But for Cathay there is a maximum and minimum height. This SHOULD be true of all airlines due to health and safety regulations - 6 foot 5 SHOULD be the tallest you can be, and there's a minimum height too, about 5 foot 10 or something. As I have now apparently grown again (FAaaaaaaaaaaaark), I am now 6 foot 6 and unable to reapply for the cadet pilot scheme.

You can always shrink in size, I'm sure there are those out there who would help you out... which ofcourse entails the breaking of your knees and legs... ;D
