I'm not sure if you guys have tried this before, but I thought I might as well mention it incase you hadn't (and btw, might be a good idea to sticky this).
OK, so the Clan Listings is quite simple, I'm offering a chance to list all the guns of the Obliterators (and co.) in two seperate listings, CLASS and TYPE.
Each is explaned in turn.
All you have to do is post in this thread with your list of guns, adding a point to mention the gun name (keep it simple, i.e. M4 will do, we don't NEED to know the variant, etc.) the gun power (in joules) and the gun type (CQB, Battle Rifle, Maching Gun or Rifle/Sniper). Each is also explained in turn.
Once you post, I will update the information in these master lists in this first post.
Post in this thread or PM me if you have suggestions/questions.
REMEMEBER, the point of these lists is to be simple, clear and easy to use as quick reference, wheather it be for game planning or jsut curiosity.
So here we go.
Class
Quite simple, what power is your gun?
Also, for each weapon, we will make a side note of fire capability (i.e. single/full auto/sustained fire).
P = Pistol, S = Single, FA = Full auto, SF = Sustained Fire
Light-weight
These would be stock and mildly modified weapons; we're talking anything below 1.3j
Arclight - USP (Stock P)
FC - Glock 26c (Stock P)
FC - M16A2 (Stock FA)
Sirrith- Sig P226 (P)
SK8S- H&K P8 (Stock P)
DarkLite - Modded Colt /25 Springer (0.4J) (SF)
DarkLite - M870 Springer (0.6J) (SF or BS)
DarkLite - Mp5-J (1J) (SA/FA)
DarkLite - XM8 (1J) (SA/FA)
Middle-weight
These would be moderate to fairly extensively modified weapons; we're talking 1.3-1.7j
Arclight - M249 (1.6/7j FA/SF)
FC - Sig552 (1.35 S/FA)
Sirrith- M4S (1.5 S/FA)
Sirrith- Sigma S&W40F (1.6-7 P)
SK8S- SR-16 (1.6 FA)
DarkLite - M9C GBB (1.5J) (SA)
DarkLite - G3SAS (1.4J) (SA/FA)
DarkLite - G3SG1C (1.6J) (SA/FA)
DarkLite - DE GBB (Co2) (1.6J) (SA/FA)
Heavy-weight
These would be seriously modified weapons; we're talking about the 1.8s and 1.9s
Arclight - M4 (1.9j, FA)
Sirrith- Gspec (1.8 S)
Sirrith- M700 (1.9 S)
Sirrith- M1 Carbine (8mm S)
SK8S- APS-2 (1.9 S)
Type
What kind of gun is it?
Sometimes power isn't enough, we need to know if your gun is suitable for a certain terrain (i.e. CQB?) or a particular role (MG?).
In this case, variants can be important; we don't really care what stock you have, but we do care if you've got a little machine gun or a big one, get it?
NOTE: Each single gun CANNOT be entered twice into this listing; pick ONE catagory that suits your weapon best (this isn't an exact science, this is a rough catagorisation for game-planning type purposes).
Pistol
Pistols and Machine Pistols; pretty much any weapon that you would condsider a proper sidearm (no, the MP7 does not count as a pistol)
Arclight - USP (TK)
FC - Glock 26c (KSC)
Sirrith- P226 (TM)
Sirrith- Sigma (KWC)
SK8S- H&K P8 (KJ, don't buy their USP series)
DarkLite - Modded Colt /25 Springer (0.4J) (SF)
DarkLite - DE GBB (Co2) (1.6J) (SA/FA)
DarkLite - M9C GBB (1.5J) (SA)
Compact
SMGs, Shotguns and otherwise compact variants; these are weapons which can be comfortabley used as CQB main weapons (i.e. small and light, strong peeps with M249 Paras don't count ) or in the case of weapons like shotguns, weapons that can ONLY be used properly in CQB
DarkLite - M870 Springer (0.6J) (SF or BS)
DarkLite - Mp5-J (1J) (SA/FA)
Assault
Larger SMG variants, Carbines, Assault Rifled; these are the middle sized weapons which maybe alright for CQB but are more comfortable for mid to long range use. You will find that most peoples main weapons are found in this catagory.
Arclight - M4 (Mixed)
FC - SIG552 (TM)
Sirrith- M4S (mixed)
SK8S- Knights Armaments SR-16 (TM)
DarkLite - G3SAS (1.4J) (SA/FA)
DarkLite - XM8 (1J) (SA/FA)
Light Support Weapons/LSWs
Pretty much most LSWs are your standard AEGs with electric high cap mags. The main features of these weapons are sizable capacity BUT still shoot like standard AEGs (i.e. short bursts only) and require at least some time to wind the mag (even if they are electric, still takes at least some time)
Squad Support Weapons/SAWs
These are your heavier machine gun types; main feature that defines these are a synchronised auto-wind electric feed and a gearbox built for sustained fire; these guns, reguardless of power, will always out-shoot LSWs in terms of sustained fire time and uninterupted high volume fire
Arclight - M249 Para (STAR)
Snipers
This covers Snipers and Long Rifles in general; characterised as gas or spring ONLY these are long range accurate type weapons
Sirrith- Gspec (mixed)
Sirrith- M700 (KJW)
SK8S- APS-2 (Maruzen)
Arclight- L96 (Chinese)
Designated Marksmans Rifle/DMR
This covers longer ranged type weapons but of the AEG vairety; they can provide sharpshooter fire, but never really up to the same standard as Snipers
FC - M16A2 (TM)
Sirrith- M1 carbine (Marushin)
Heavy Fire Support/HFS
This is the random catch-all catagory to pick up those other fancy systems out there; mainly launchers, mines and maybe the odd sentry gun
