Okay so I got my EBR by mail thanks to FC (I LOVE YOU MAN!!! ) AND SPENDING AN HOUR OR TWO OF PUTTING THE GUN BACK TOGETHER.... EVERYTHING WAS GOING ALONG FINE... BARREL SET FITTED... AND PUTTING THE TWO HALVES OF THE GUN TOGETHER... THE LOWER RECIEVER (METAL) BREAKS IN HALF AT THE TWO WEAKEST POINTS! JUST GOES... "SNAP" ... %$@&^#$!$#!@$#%@#$%!$#!$%@#$%!@$# *DOORS OF HELL OPEN* It's more fragile than you thinK... I think it got damaged alot during transit cuz I was just sliding without adding pressure THE GOOD NEWS! THE OUTER BARREL HOLDS THE GUN IN PLACE. WITH THE GUN ASSEMBLED TOGETHER IT'S STILL SOLID. POWERFUL SUPER GLUE WILL SOLVE THE PROBLEM. JUST DON'T OPEN IT AGAIN. PICTURES LATER...

Spray painted the gun OD. Pics up later It's sexy~~~ but fires waaaay too fast on lipo and doesn't feed after firing 3-4 shots haha.

Noa: The broken part: Same on the other side. The solution! Fixing... Painted using: Finished! Tough stuff the Pattex! The metal blades fit in very well! Leave to cure for 2 hours and it's rock solid. But I wouldn't want to test it out. Love you baby~ (EBR)

-_- I think I'll blame Jin for making our place a mess this time LOL I don't think it has changed much since I left though. It's probably the dry climate that's causing hair fluffication. Looking very Aliens with that gun... specially the custom krylon job Now all you need is MOAR GEAR to look badass... oh wait. it's jin xD He already has all the gear

Oh and Jimmy is actually cleaning up around here. You know your dinner table? It's going to be kept clean and rubbish free And muhahaha... I love my gear atm. Belt with single suspender and everything I need on it ;D Eager to complete my chest rig here Anyways! Thread over! EBR has a critical design flaw but can be fixed or prevented! Epoxy a metal plate on and it'll last. The grip has a gap to accomodate a metal plate to be epoxied on. Even if the lower reciever isn't broken, I'd epoxy a metal plate on as additional suppoer to prevent it from breaking ever. Just need to solve the misfeed probs

Noa's After game report on the EBR: I think I was playing over the power limit of 1J... (someone please chrono this baby ) Misfeed problems caused me to play on semi (which was great because I lost count after 30 kills lololol). But after about 3 mags, I could put the gun on auto and it fired fine. But after a while again, misfeed problems and I was back on semi. The gun is hefty but I had no problems using the gun, moving and aiming. In fact, my aim was very steady thanks to the weight and my stance so I got some great kills on single fire. I used high-ready and patrol stance in game, never low ready unless I wasn't playing. The metal plates that I epoxied on stuck firm, even when I had the gun slung around me. But the plates broke off near the end of the day because of two reasons: 1) My lipo ran out of battery so I backpack/mountain-carry slung the EBR on my back to go dual pistols (and I killed 8 with the pistol btw hehehe). 2) I didn't mix the epoxy for a section, which was the area that broke off. The other half of the metal plate is still very firmly stuck on. At the moment I reapplied the epoxy generously over the metal plates to give it more support and left it overnight to cure. It should be very tough now. Krylon'ing it later. - The metal plate i got is too tough to drill through. The drill head was beginning to blunt. If you get a weaker metal plate, or a pre-drilled one, that it'd be easier to bolt down the plate, which I think is the most secure and strongest way to fix/prevent the EBR lower reciever from snapping. But it won't break as easily if it's already assembled on the gun. I think it's when you have the disassembled then it'll be more prone to break. Finmere game report comming up once I get back home! A little highlight before I sign off.... I jerked (throttled) in my sleep when I had a flash back memory of getting sniped in my head from the first game. Awesome day.... too good. I need a site like that in HK.

NOTE to ALL: ^^^^^^^^^^THIS IS SPAM^^^^^^^^^^^^^ if you don't have anything worthy of saying, don't make a post to acknowledge u'r presence... - any post with just LOL, ROFL, or XD and tht sorta stuff does not consistute a post

No, spam is 2000 posts in a row containing nothing but desu desu desu desu desu desu desu etc. done to intentionally and maliciously flood the forums beyond use. Or unwanted / irrelevant adverts. Which this is not.
But yeah, posts are generally meant to make a contribution, either in information, opinion or in humour. So I would agree that lol does not constitute a post.
Anyway, let's move on and keep on topic, if this topic is going to continue.

ACtually, I think the CYMA SOC16 is a better bet - it has metal bushings and a 6.04 tightbore as stock! All you need to do is replace the stock wiring (as in the gearbox to battery extension in the stock) and it's a great gun - unlike the KART it has a complete copy of the TM, hop-up unit, gears and all.
PLus, it's lighter, due to polymer stock, and can take a large batty.
Oclan with Soc16s in urban digicam would be rapage.

The one Crow/Wondo was using for TTWSC 8TH AUG? If it is, niiiice. That SOC16 is pretty nice to handle. Give it a nice custom grip texturing with a soldering iron and a nice paintjob - bam! Thanks for that Goliath Oh and do not use the EOTECH on the EBR or any of the M14's. The China EOTECH is meant for the M4 as if you put the EOTECH too far ahead like a reflex, the rear lens becomes a mirror. Just reminding again

Now a normal aimpoint will work wonders xD I saw at SSP there was a tri-rail red-dot. Green and red. Cute. I think it'll really fit in with the EBR raily-ness hehe ;D I need to get an EBR back in HK lol.

Thanks for that Goliath No, that was the KART SOCOM. The CYMA SOCOM is black and comes with a special "Sandstone" coating like the TM, and completely rapes all of the M14 AEGs, including the TM. Seriously, tightbore as stock. I tested one and could hit McDonald's ketchup packets every time from 20m.
