Oh I so wanna try old school DND in all its D6 glory. I missed it when it was "popular" so I never got a chance to try first hand.

Please tell me it is not a paladin. The idea of you playing paladin gives me nightmares.
I'm hoping bard, expecting CE Necromancer.
I have more if you want them, but I'm probably going to wait until second page hits first, or modify them all into one post, maybe a different thread.
The pictures are hosted through photobucket, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to crash that.

Hope everyone has MoTB installed along, my main build has been a half-drow multi-classed as dragon disciple, bard and favored soul. Too much you think? She’s great fun with a good mix in support spells and some offensive, while being self sufficient..so she’s not that squishy. xD Went through the expansion and NWN2 after getting back to the addiction! Even made custom stuff that look nice lol. =3

Well yeah, I got pleanty of character ideas but I'll prefer to chat and defer my first time around I think. Most of my fantasy characters from RPs are way to uber for normal D&D anyway. Darokin Jericho, kicking ass since 1241. Methinks someone should start a seperate D&D thread now, so we can talk about details without cluttering up this otherwise fun pic thread yeah?

We need a mod to change the Neverwinter Nights section to Role Playing Games section... or just RPGs... no not rocket propelled grenades...
then inside we can split it up to NWN and DnD/ADnD... i prefer ADnD...

"way to uber for normal D&D"
There are rpgs for being gods. Exalted is probably the most popular for that. Also there are D&D stats for gods and such as well, you can build practically anything if you use outside additions (I'm pretty sure there's at least 1000 different prestige classes out there now, ranging from godhood to prostitute). But I dislike them because it often ends up with half-Phoenix werewolf vampire lich daemonking god etc etc etc. Also they tend to be broken, like in the way you can have infinite stats by level 6 if you use all the outside books.
"Neverwinter Nights section to Role Playing Games"
Could do, but seems like unnecessary effort. I suspect most of the dnd stuff will be organised over msn or irl. Then again, posting campaign notes and stuff would make nice reading / discussion.
"start a separate D&D thread"
Probably, then could just link to this thread for certain pictures, to stop flooding.
"Too much you think?"
Half-Drow with dragon blood who is personally favoured and granted powers by a god and sings? Just a bit too much character for dnd, perfect for nwn though. Unless we're playing really high levels.
"i prefer ADnD"
Well Arc said he wanted oldschool, so I wasn't sure if he meant like ten years or forty. Both are for us.
"made custom stuff that look nice"
Making custom stuff is awesome. We'll have to make some stuff when we get back, maybe poke the module a bit.

Well, Darokin there wasn't actualy THAT uber. He was a character I used in a fantasy RP. He's actualy 1/4 Dragon and a smigen Divine, what is now called Aesimir I suppose. His idea was that he was light on skills but heavy on attributes, so for the exeption of being an excellent hand-to-hand martial artist and weapon-counter acter (as in fighting armed opponents when he's unarmed) and proficiancy with that fancy armour of his, he had little in the way of skills. But, he was wicked strong, fast and tough; extra on the strength. Kinda like a Hercules-ish type I suppose, capable of going tow-to-tow with large creatures. Once, I even killed a dragon (with some very fancy acrobatics). I can understand how creating a D&D equivalent would be possible but certain attributes would be well above human and so the stats would have to be able to reflect that. If possible, that would be nice; our own little band of fantasy rockstars. ;D OH, and after I get the Wild Frontier system up and good to go, I'll also create a seperate Fantasy RP as well; dust off ol' Darokin there and put him to some use.
