George Carlin I would say is the greatest stand up comedian of all time. His teachings and philosophies has inspired me to become the person I am today. He is the single most important idol I've ever had. His voice has been the rare source of sanity that kept me going through out my turbulent teenage years.
It would be my greatest honor if I can make another OClan member a fan of him.
Search for him on youtube, google video, bittorrent, etc.
His legacy will resonate through time...

@mal... please put you brain in gear before posting... or just don't post! My grandfather would say: "I'm going upstairs to fuck your grandmother". He was an honest man, and he wasn't going to bullshit a four-year-old. — George Carlin my first experaince with George was... Rufus in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Although i didn't know it then... his skills were so ranged and has great depth. I soon learnt... and even hunted out his work. even cracked me up one day... bored... ficking though channels on TV... hearing his voice.... was WTF?? as he was Narrator for "Thomas the tank engine"... lol won 4 Grammy Awards, 5 Emmy's Awards, 3 best-selling books, , recorded 22 comedy albums, headlined 14 HBO television specials, and hosted hundreds of variety shows. One was the first episode of "Saturday Night Live" in 1975, The very existence of flame throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done. — George Carlin FC

R.I.P I wasn't aware but damn....that's one phenominal comedian down. I remember the first time i saw his stand up was a continous speech that explained something with a crap load of swears and rather detailed explanations of so many subjects, it was so fking hilarious since it was so fast and at times, even made sense.
