So I bought a RS Type 97 from someone recently, might know him... a British guy called FarEast.
Anyway, the thing feels as solid as a rock. All steel and polymer. I was wondering, how strong is the steel and polymer though? If I dropped this gun on concrete, will it survive? How does the build strength compare to say a VFC SR16 (my other gun)?
I figured I should ask here since a lot of you seem to actually work for Redwolf... so I assume that you all have had a good chance to bang around with both rifles.
Totally unrelated question:
The DBoys KAC PDW, is that body also CNC aluminum like the VFC or just die cast pot metal?

I don't work for RW.... but have shipped a couple of 97's a long and a short. seems a very solid build, maybe not as good as the TAV21 plastic... but better than your average plastic airsoft gun. would probably last quite a few drops. actually... theres an idea for RW next movie... throw some guns around see which one last longest... no idea about the m4 PDW.... other than its body is different... and modern and it sure is preeddy.
