This is my suggested wargame rules/guidelines.
Foreword: Don't be an idiot and use your head. Think.
Gun Rules: (+0.09J Tolerance)
- Sniper (semi/bolt): 2.0J
- Assault (auto): 1.6J
- CQB (semi): 1.3J
- For Close Quarters: 1.3J Under
- Lasers allowed. We trust you not to blind us. Just don't try to aim for the head with a laser!
Game Rules:
- Head/neck/chest shots, regardless if you were grazed there, is counted as a kill.
- There are no bingos. You can shout for them to surrender but no bingos (ie point and shout "you're dead" does nothing)
It's a lazy way to get cheap kills. The guy with better gun control will win. That's what we want.
- No hit calling. But player marshalls can call out hits (experienced players who know what the hell they're doing). This is because we don't usually have marshalls standing around watching - cuz they're also playing with us
- Snipers must swap to a sidearm for assault/CQB range engagements.
- Knife Kills are silent.
- Finger and grazing shots do not count. Shots must make full contact with your head/body/vest/helmet...etc. Don't wear a helmet if you don't want your head to stick out more! It's still counted as a hit!
- Drop/near vertical shots, recochettes and 'bare contact' shots do not count. e.g. You're behind a bush and someone blasts at you through the bush. Bullets hitting you by simply rolling down the leaves and making 'contact' with (not 'hitting') you will not count as a kill.
If you think that one or several shots grazed you but don't believe that you would have died from it, ie. bullets grazed the side of your vest and arm, you can still continue to fight.
We trust in you to make the right and honest choice and will not argue that you're hit.
We'll just shoot you more, closer and harder. We do that very well ;D
